| Dues Information GFWAR / SCR mails its dues billing statements to the membership in the fourth quarter of every year. Every REALTOR® and affiliate member of the Society of Commercial REALTORS® is also a member of GFWAR. So, these members must pay the non-refundable GFWAR dues payment plus the SCR dues payment. The dues structure is as follows:
A late fee of $30 is assessed to all members who have not paid their dues by mid-December. (The specific date for the implementation of this fee is listed on the statement.) Membership services are terminated for all accounts not paid in full. TREPAC Contribution A contribution to the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee may be made along with the membership dues. The dues statement includes a $99 suggested contribution rate for brokers and designated affiliates and a $35 suggested contribution rate for agents and additional affiliates. Contributions to the political action committee are voluntary and are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. These contributions are used for political purposes. Seventy percent of each contribution is used by TREPAC to support state and local political candidates. The balance is sent to the National RPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a. Methods of Payment Payments may be made by check, cash, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, or VISA. Dues may be paid online or by mailing a payment to: 2650 Parkview Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76102.
