Affiliate / Friend Membership Info SCR affiliate / friend memberships are available to those who want to rub shoulders with the commercial real estate movers-and-shakers of Tarrant County. An affiliate / friend membership offers: Exposure – SCR lists its affiliate / friend members on its Web site with a link to their Web sites. In addition, affiliates / friends are listed in the SCR Update, which is e-mailed to all SCR members on a monthly basis. SCR also provides marketing opportunities in the SCR Update for affiliates / friends to post newsworthy items to the membership. Staff members need to be notified about time-sensitive information at least two weeks before the information should be published. Networking – SCR breakfasts and events provide fantastic networking opportunities and give affiliates / friends a firsthand chance to make connections with commercial real estate practitioners. Since the real estate business is about relationship-building, SCR understands the importance of creating and maintaining solid relationships between SCR affiliates / friends and REALTOR® members. Membership Directory – All affiliate / friend members have instant access to the contact information of all 200 SCR members by downloading the online member directory in the Members Only portion of the Web site. This directory pulls straight from the SCR database, so the information is as accurate as possible. In addition, SCR affiliates / friends can e-mail all SCR members information about their companies or products with a click of a button in the Members Only portion of the Web site. Communiqués – SCR sends affiliates / friends all the e-mail communications, newsletters and mailers that SCR REALTORS® receive, ensuring that affiliates / friends stay in-the-know regarding upcoming SCR events, news, advertising opportunities and other important information. Cost Break – Affiliates / friends receive cost breaks at SCR breakfasts and other SCR events. To Become an Affiliate Member Want to reach both the commercial and residential sectors? An affiliate membership provides this opportunity. Affiliates are members of both SCR and GFWAR and receive exposure in and access to both membership groups. To become an affiliate member of SCR, an applicant must be an affiliate member of GFWAR and in good standing. Become a GFWAR Affiliate Member The cost for an SCR affiliate membership is $85, which is added to the fee for GFWAR affiliate dues. GFWAR / SCR Dues Information The process to become an SCR affiliate member includes downloading the form below and sending it to GFWAR with a form of payment (check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or money order.) This membership is similar to the affiliate membership, but SCR Friends are only members of SCR. To become an SCR Friend, fill out the application below and submit it with a payment of $100 in the form of cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or a money order. SCR Friend Application Applicants may request appointments with GFWAR staff members to discuss becoming an SCR Friend, or they can just submit an application and payment to GFWAR.
